Consulting Services
We provide consulting services to traditional and outdoor museums, parks, and nature centers. Our areas of specialty include:
- outdoor exhibit layouts
- life-size Native home construction and installation
- exhibit furnishings and materials
- daily operations public and field trip programming
- event and community programming
We also provide staff training on conducting living history demonstrations and other interpretative workshops. Please refer to workshops for more information.
Examples
"We want to create a Maple sugar camp exhibit and need to know
what kind of materials we need and the costs. Where can we get these
materials, or how do we make them? What kind of tools do we need? How
do we go about constructing the camp?"
"We are a Historical
Society who would like to dress a couple mannequins to reflect the
historic Native Americans of our area in 1756. What garments, materials,
and decoration would be appropriate?"
