School of the Native is an educational event that showcases Northeastern Woodland Indian arts, skills, technologies, and life-ways from pre-contact times to 1900. Demonstrators and presenters include ancient technologists, archaeologists, artisans, historical interpreters, and re-enactors. The event is held every few years in different locations around Southern Indiana. The weekend event includes a Friday school day.
